ServiceManager Installation for WebLogic 12c Follow
Installing ServiceManager in WebLogic:
AuraPlayer WAR file Installation in WebLogic
- Login to the Oracle WebLogic console
http://<hostname>.<domain>:<port>/console - Default port is usually 7001
- On the left middle pane, “Domain Structure” press "Deployment"
- On the left top pane in the “Change Center” section click on the “Lock & Edit” It will become disabled (greyed out), and “Release Changed” will become active.
- Click on the Configuration tab and in the Deployment section and click the “Install” button
- Click the “upload your files” link found above the Path variables
- In the “Deployment Archive” section press the “choose file” button
- Choose the "ServiceManager.war" file (found in the folder it was downloaded into). Click the “Open” button and then the “Next” button of the wizard
- The file will be uploaded to the server. You can see the progress of the upload on the status bar at the bottom.
- Keep the defaults and Click on the “Next” button
- Keep the defaults and Click on the “Next” button
- Select the Deployment server target:
- Select the Server to install the ServiceManager on. It can be installed on the Admin Server for test or POC environments.
However, we suggest you install it on a different Server for AuraPlayer production environments.

- Select the Server to install the ServiceManager on. It can be installed on the Admin Server for test or POC environments.
- After making your server selection click “Next”
- Keep the default vales checked and click “Finish” to Finalize deployment
- After you have completed the step you must commit the changes to the repository for it to take effect. On the top left pane, press “Activate Changes” button.
You have now deployed ServiceManager to WebLogic successfully!
Launching the Service Manager
Starting the ServiceManager Service in WebLogic
In the Control tab of the Server, check the checkbox next to the ServiceManager. Click "Start" on the top toolbar and select "Servicing All requests" from the drop down list.
Click on "Yes" to start the ServiceManager deployment.
Accessing the Service Manager Console
You can access the ServiceManger, by entering the server's URL and adding "/ServiceManager"
Example: http://<weblogicServer>:<port>/ServiceManager
Enter your weblogic admin password. Once you log in, the Service Manager main screen will appear.
