Downtimes Follow
Downtimes feature allows you to configure specific days and times in which the system isn't available: for instance when there is a weekly maintenance on your Form, DB, or any other backend.
You will still be able to access the ServiceManager UI during downtime.
Features that won't run
During the configured times, any services, test cases, RPAs and etc that will attempt to run - they will return immediately with a dedicated error message ('Scheduled downtime').
The full list of features that won't execute during downtime:
- Services
- TestCases / TestGroups
- Monitoring Agents
- Scheduled/Email RPA.
Other features that involve running services won't run as well.
Configuring Downtimes
You may configure downtimes in Admin -> Downtimes:
- You may add as many lines as you need, times in one line may overlap the times in another line.
- Enter 0:00 as end time to indicate the end of the day (you'll need separate lines to indicate a downtime that starts in one day and ends in the next day).
Logging
All calls that were performed during downtime will be logged to a dedicated log (downtime.log).
You may download this log by going to Admin -> Downtimes -> Download log.
These calls won't be logged to the general manager.log and won't be logged in Statistics screen.
