How To Perform Forms 12c Cloud Installation – AuraPlayer

There are some specificities when it comes to cloud installation on Forms 12c.

For example, on Forms 12c cloud installation, you will come across a security issue on the client-side.

In order not to set up a client-side recording, we perform the setup of the AuraPlayer recorder on the Forms server.

Below are the steps that need to be done:

Copy AuraPlayerAgent.jar and auraplater.properties files to Forms server/java folder.
Edit formsweb.cfg file :
in hrds section:

1. Add AuraPlayerAgent.jar ot the archive.

2. Add recor=names to the config

on webutiljpi.htm - formsMessageListener parameter needs to be added to EMBED section (in case you are working FireFox browser - it is missing this property).

Please note the following:

The setup is only required in the Development environment.
It is always recommended to create backup files for all files that were changed.
When you perform recording on Forms 12c cloud server, please make sure to uncheck "Record without installation" checkbox.
