Developer machine configuration for Recording Forms services Follow
This section you should perform the changes only on the developer machine, NOT the Forms server.
This section give permissions to AuraPlayer server as well as to the applet on the developer machine.
The following steps are required:
Open your Form in JAVA Applet
If you already have a browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox) on your machine that is able to open your form in Applet mode, you may skip this section.
If you are only are working with JWS then follow the guidelines below.
- Download and install Java 8 32 bit on your machine.
- Download AuraPlayer IDE (portable FireFox) from here.
- Unzip the IDE to your machine and invoke it by doable clicking on "FirefoxPortable.exe".
Don't pin it to your task bar. Always invoke it from the folder. - When the IDE is open make sure that you see the following icon on your toolbar. This will verify that you are running the AuraPlayer IDE
- Make sure that your EBS user (which you intend to use for recording) is defined in the system profile with the ?config=ap_browserMode (for more details consult with you EBS admin)
Add site permissions in Java configurations
Open Java Configurations (Control Panel->Java).
Add permission to the following domains, to your 'trusted sites' in java security:
http://<Forms_server>:<forms_port>
http://<service manager server>:<service manager port>
Setup AuraPlayer's java certificate:
1- Download AuraPlayer certificate file to your local file system from here
2- Open Java Console from Start->Control Panel->Java
3- Click the Security tab
4- Click "Manage Certificates…"
5- Select Certificate Type: "Trusted Certificates"
6- Click "Import"
7- Select the "AuraPlayerCertificate.p12" file. Make sure you see OraPlayer LTD on the "Issued To" table
8- Choose "Signer CA" from "Certificates"
9- Click the "Import" button
10- Select AuraPlayerCertificate.p12 file from the directory where you copied the AuraPlayer install files. This certificate comes with your AuraPlayer install files.
11- Make sure you'll see OraPlayer LTD on the "Issued To" table.
12- Click OK
