How to Install AuraPlayer HTML recorder extension on Chrome or Edge Follow
Portable Chrome setup
- For Chrome setup - download the portable Chrome from the following link: Portable Chrome
- Unzip the file
- Open GoogleChromePortable.exe file
Install Extension
- Step 1 - download the extension (zip file) from here
- Step 2 - Open the browser, and open the extension page:
- Option 1: type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press enter. On Edge you can also use edge://extensions.
- Option 2: click on the tree dots in the top right of the browser, then click "Extensions" and then "Manage extensions".
- Step 3 - activate developer mode: Turn on the switch that says, "Developer mode". In Chrome on the top right of the extensions page and in Edge on the left of the extensions page.

- Step 4 - drag the extension zip file onto the extensions page
If you get an error similar to: "Cannot install extension because it uses an unsupported manifest version." and/or "Could not load manifest.", please follow the instructions below:
0. (Chrome version 1.40 and above) Type chrome://flags/#temporary-unexpire-flags-m139 in the address bar and press enter to find the "temporary-unexpire-flags-m139" flag and enable it. Relaunch the browser.
1. Type chrome://flags/#allow-legacy-mv2-extensions in the address bar and press enter to find the "allow-legacy-mv2-extensions" flag and enable it. Relaunch the browser.
You will see that AuraPlayer's extension was added

- Step 6 optional - Pin the extension to the toolbar for fast access:
In Chrome press <Details> and activate the Pin to toolbar switch.
In Edge press the extension icon on the top right menu and check the Show in toolbar (eye) icon.
