Labels and tabs Follow
Setting lables to resrouces allows you to group these resources into categories.
For example, services related to a certain screen, functionality, or topic.
Labels are supported in the services and apps screens.
The RPAs screen also displays labels that were added to RPAs via the services screen.
Adding a label
In the services/apps screens, select one or more entities, then click: Labels -> Add Label -> New Label.
Type a name by your choice, and confirm.
The new label will appear next to your entities.
User labels and system labels
The labels you create are called user labels (or simply labels), but there are other kinds of labels that automatically appear next to your services:
- App/RPA labels indicate that the service is used by that App/RPA.
- "P" labels indicate that the service is partial (also supported: "T" - for ticket services)
Filtering by label [Services screen]
To filter by label, type #, followed by the label name.
Click on the "?" button to view additional search options.
Selecting all entities with label / removing label
To select all entities with label, go to Labels -> Select by label -> label_name.
A checkmark will appear next to all entities having the label.
To remove a label from entities, select one or more entities and click Labels -> Remove label -> label_name. The label will be removed from the selected entities (the entities themself will remain).
Removing the label from all entities associated with it, will remove the label completely.
Tabs / Folders [Services screen]
Tabs may help you organize your services, espcially as your projects progress and the amount of services increases.
Click on Labels -> Manage Labels to open the label managment screen.
In that screen, select a label to view the services and apps associated with it.
Check the "Show in Separate Tab" checkbox to have the services screen display the services in a separate tab:
The tabs are as follows:
- ALL: all the services, with or without any labels.
- <Your folders>
- Other: everything else, that's not in your folders.
Notice that tabs/folders are created only for the labels you specifically marked as "Show in Separate Tab".
A label can exist without being used as a tab, giving you the flexibility to use the feature at your convinience.
