Java version for ServiceManager server Follow

The ServiceManager can be installed on a Tomcat/Weblogic server with any Java version. 
We support Oracle Java and OpenJDK as well.

However, there might be some limitations or adjustments to your installation, and AuraPlayer team should be aware if you are planning to use/upgrade to the following Java versions.

Java6-7/OpenJDK6-7

Java 6 was released in February 2002 and reached the end of its supported life in February 2013.
AuraPlayer's ServiceManager supports Java6/7 up to Release2024-07.
AuraPlayer will send you a dedicated ServiceManager version. However, the latest features might be unavailable.

Java11 

The JavaScript engine might work slower than usual (~3 sec delays) when running a JavaScript/RPA service (SM-3156).
Consider using a different Java version if this affects you.

Java15+/OpenJDK15+

Prior to deploying the ServiceManager war file, the Nashorn-js-engine jars (5 jars) shall be added to the Web-INF/lib folder inside the war (SM-3050).
This is done by the AuraPlayer team before sending you the ServiceManager installation file (.war file).
